(More customer reviews)I was very comforted and inspired by Rabbai/Dr. Twerski's very well written book. While it is written for an observant Jewish audience, with numerous references to the Bible, Talmud, and Jewish commentators, it might also have some appeal to a wider, albeit open minded audience, as the themes of the book are universal. He encourages the reader to avoid despair, face the realities of their economic situation, speak honestly with family members about money, and to maintain a positive self image. Dr. Twerski is an MD and psychiatrist who has worked with many people in 12 Step programs, as well as a distinguished Chabad rabbai, and his work benefits from many years of experience in both worlds.
