Mastering Derivatives Markets (The Financial Times Market Editions) Review

Mastering Derivatives Markets (The Financial Times Market Editions)

You may seldom locate a book telling you one of the most practical aspect in recent regime of financial accountng - booking the derivatives. Nevertheless, it spent a few paragraphs together with some examples showing you the booking of three major types of derivatives in the financial market. Other topics also illustrate comprehensively the functioning of the derivatives as well as accompanied with various examples. Had it not been for the limited pages in explaining the booking methodology, it would have been the best derivatives related book that I have met before.

Mastering the ISDA Master Agreements: A Practical Guide for Negotiation (3rd Edition) (Financial Times Series) Review

Mastering the ISDA Master Agreements: A Practical Guide for Negotiation (3rd Edition) (Financial Times Series)

If you are a law school student eager to be a finance lawyer, a lawyer practicing in the finance, or a businessman who deals with financial derivatives, you probably need to read this book to know what the ISDA MA and Schedule is. The ISDA MA and the relative documents family are a kind of very 'Specified' matters so it is hard to find some appropriate information via online even on Google. This book is suitable for someone who is interested in, or needs to know the wordings and statements used in financial derivatives field. This book uses easy English and easy phrases so that a foreign reader like me can read without difficulties. I would give 5 stars unless my book is incorrectly collated. The pages from 243 to 274 has gone. I have no idea whether it is just my problem or not. I recommend you to buy this book if you have enough luck to choose a normal one.

The business of Hedging Review

The business of Hedging

I've read a fair amount on hedging but this is the best one to start with. It uses common sense and easy to understand analogies to get at the "whys" of hedging. It is written for the small to mid size business person, but that only makes it stronger because you get to see the big picture instead of getting lost in the nuances and details of it all.
