It has proven a valuable tool not only in deciding whether incorporation is the way to go for me in starting a business, but also in developing a business plan that suits long-term as well as short-term needs. Many business books I've read are so painfully obtuse or just plain boring that I've lost interest before making it all the way through, but this book was an exception, with language that can appease even the most virulently phobic about business-speak while not dumbing it down to the point of losing its effectiveness. It also provides a tremendous amount of practical information such as state-by-state incorporation rules, a comprehensive glossary of incorporation terms and a CD-ROM that includes legal dictionaries and links to the [...] web site, which offers even more helpful guides and tips. In a world filled with poorly written and questionably organized business books, "Are You Ready to Incorporate?" stands out as an example of the way to do it right.
